Sometimes I think Jack White said it best when he said, "Sometimes these feelings can be so misleading" in the classic White Stripes song "Fell in Love With a Girl." (Other times I think it was Conor Oberst of Bright Eyes when he said, "I don't like when people say 'delicious' when describing things that aren't food," but that, my friends, is neither here nor there.) But something I've always felt pretty strongly about is, when you can't think of the words to describe what you're feeling, turn the the amazing song writers of the world, who seem to have all the words for anything.

Wow . . .

Music: Yep, you guessed it: "Billie Jean." But actually it's David Cook's version from "American Idol" for which the words amazing, unbelievable, and fantastic are an understatement.

Dear Friends,

So this is crazy. I just finished posting my Oasis quote, and I've just now thought of another song I would like to quote. Now brace yourselves for this, all right? "Bille Jean." Yes, Michael Jackson, okay? No laughing! I love Michael Jackson! Well, not him, but his music. I really do think he's an amazing musician, he just needs to do something about . . . everything else about him.

So here it is, from Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean":

Becareful what you do, before the lie becomes the truth.

Now, this one seems pretty self-explanitory to me: becareful what lies you tell, because somehow, whether you want it to or not, it will become the truth.
